Use-case guide · Add to Calendar Links

Create one event link for every calendar app

Share one fixed URL that lets recipients choose how they save an event.

Start with one event

This route fits a fixed event that needs to travel through newsletters, social posts, messages, or documents. One stable URL is easier to maintain than separate links for every calendar provider.

Build the shared destination

Create the event in Add to Calendar Links with its final title, date, time zone, location, and description. Review the generated destination and use that single URL everywhere the event is promoted.

Make the invitation understandable

The surrounding message should still state what the event is and when it happens. Use descriptive link text such as “Save the product launch to your calendar” instead of exposing a long URL without context.

Check the boundaries

Test the link on phones and computers with the calendar providers your audience uses. Choose Add to Calendar Button for an embedded product control, or Add to Calendar PRO when a team must manage changing events and registrations.
